Those last few laps in the GTD class were excellent

Amazing side by side Ferrari R8 battle hampered by a poor penalty giving. Also, come on red Ferrari, why must you run the BMW into the wall?! Quite honestly it was more exciting than F1.

Race Control needs to be raped and thrown in a fire

That call needs to be reversed. There was no contact at all.

You can't throw out an avoidable contact penalty if there was no contact!

Definitely awesome, not seeing what contact they were calling but then again I'm not at the track. It's too bad that Audi was having issues right at the end too.

I thought the gtlm battle was going well too but that darn Daytona car totally screwed that BMW.

Sad to see both srt and corvette hampered by problems for a lot of the race. If it were a perfect world for me I'd want to see those two battling for first, corvettes winning of course

Ferrari likes causing accidents.

First time running at Daytona since the class win in '01 with a brand new race car. A few problems are to be expected. Hopefully they get back into form at Sebring.

Oh I definitely understand it's not easy with the new car, just a shame is all.

Sebring will be interesting now that all these teams have endurance data on the cars and experience with the new series.

I'm looking for the P2 cars to make a comeback and show the DPs how to go around a real road course.

Before the non-existant unavoidable contact they keep showing in the replay, the Ferrari nailed the Audi coming off the banking on the front straight.

While I like the DP 's, I like the P2 cars much more and definitely was disappointed by the dp cars running the show.

It will be interesting to watch them throughout the season too. It almost seems like they let the DP cars have an edge performance wise, but that could just be the track too.

Don't get me wrong, I was thrilled to see the Corvette DPs sweep the podium after what happened to Jan and Tommy.

I just think it's no surprise the DPs were faster around the track they were designed for and on which the P2s have very little experience. Now, if the DPs are still much quicker around Sebring where the P2s should have the edge in both design and experience I think it would be time to call shenanigans.

Totally agreed, Sebring will be very telling.

And of course, I do always support any corvette type machine winning haha.
